Here are a few things happening this week: *  In Literacy, we are working on "ay" and "ai".  Each make the sound of /a/.  Students have learned that "ai" has the sound of /a/ in the middle of words, such as, train, pain, and gain and "ay' has the sound of /a/ at the end of words, such as, bay, Saturday, and spray.  There will be no Show and Tell since we are done with all the letters of the alphabet. *  In Math, we are still working on Unit 4: Numbers to 10. *  A notice was sent home today regarding our end of year field trip.  If you could kindly fill it out and send it back, it would be greatly appreciated.   *  Scholastic Book orders are due on June 5th.  These orders are a great way to get some summer reading at a great value.
