     Welcome back! Parent-teacher interviews that have already been scheduled twice so far will now take place Thursday, April 3rd from 5:30-7:30. A notice will go home Wednesday.French - Reading and writing will be the order of business for the remainder of the week. We will be wraping up our unit on "Seasons." Daily 5 work will continue as well. Please ensure your child continues to read at home each night.Math - We will be finishing our unit on Measurement this week. Friday we will spend time reviewing material covered to date. Next Monday students will write their unit test. Social Studies - We still have 4 remaining groups to film before we can conclude our unit. Next week we will commence our Health unit.Reminders:- Parent-teacher interviews Thursday, April 3rd. Times will remain the same unless otherwise indicated. Please send a note to inform me. - Reading is to occur nightly- Continue to check agenda. Send notices in your child's agenda if you require assistance, after school pick-up, etc.Let's have a great week.      Welcome back! Parent-teacher interviews that had been scheduled for last Thursday evening will now take place this Thursday, March 24th.Thank you for your understanding. Please return your child's brown reportcard envelop as I require them for June. We will be going skating Wednesday morning at the LBR rink. Students will be skating from 8:45 -9:45. A reminder that Monday morning, March 24th our class will be attending JMH for the Miramichi Music Festival. Our class concert time is 9:30. All parents that will be attending are asked to be at least 10-15 minutes early. Members of the choir will be singing Wednesday at 10:25 a.m.  French - Due to our shortened week last week, we will utilize our time to work on remaining material that was not covered.  We will also commence filming our Social Studies videos re cities, towns, and villages of NB.  Math - This week students will be learning about masse. Our objectives will be to estimate and measure the masse of objects in grams and kilograms. Thursday we will review in preparation for their unit test on Friday.  Reminders:   - Reading is to occur nightly  - Miramichi Music Festival @ JMH Monday morning at 9:30. - March 26th skating at LBR.  As always, if you have any questions, comments, and/or concerns please contact me.     Welcome back! Report cards will be sent home on Wednesday. Parent-teacher interviews will take place Thursday evening and Friday morning. Fingers crossed that there will be no more storm cancellations J  French - Students will complete a narrative story about St. Patrick’s Day on Monday. We will use the remainder of our shortened week to complete our discussions on “Seasons” and local attractions across various villages, towns, and cities across New Brunswick as we wrap up our Social Studies Unit. Students will commence their final copy of their city/town presentation and practice reading it in advance of the final tech presentation. Following Social Studies, we will move on to study Canada’s Food Guide and healthy lifestyles in Health. Students continue to make gains in their reading, and I am pleased with everyone’s results to date. Please continue to read at home each night to promote the gains they have made thus far. Do not hesitate to ask your child questions pertaining to the 5 "w's" (who, what, where, when, why) to challenge them further.   Math - We will finalize our 4th unit on measurement this week. This week students incorporate their addition skills in order to measure area and perimeter. Thursday we will review in preparation for their unit test on Monday. Social Studies - Stay tuned for students final video presentations next week J  Reminders:   -Reading is to occur nightly  -Please sign agendas and reading log sheets.
