I am attaching the skating schedule for the whole year so you will know when we go as a class.  The Kindergarten and grade one classes will go skating for the first time on December 7th.  I have highlighted all the times that we will go.  Every student must have skates and a helmet in order to participate.

I hope everyone is rested up after a 3 day weekend.  Here are a few things happening this week:   *  We will be working on the letter Pp this week.  Pp can be found at the beginning of such words as pickle, penguin, Peter, pirate, poster, pot, pan, pants, and pringles.  Show and Tell will be on Friday so have fun finding something that begins with the /p/ sound. Also, we are working on the number 5.     *  The penny and food drives continue this week and weeks following.  Remember that for every food item you bring in, you get your name put in for a chance to win an Ipad tablet.  The class that brings in the most pennies wins a popsicle party.

District Office has announced the prizes for the Food Bank drive.  Remember, for EVERY item you bring in for the food bank, your name goes in for a draw for one of these amazing prizes.  Good luck everyone!!
