The students and staff of Saint Andrews Elementary would like to extend a huge thank you to the Miramichi Big Brothers Big Sisters Boys and Girls Club for the magnificent donation of hundreds of new books to our school. These books will be placed in all classrooms to be enjoyed for years to come.

On Wednesday, Feb. 25th there will be a meeting in regards to French Second Language. Making a choice as to have your child enter Grade 3 French Immersion can be a big decision. This meeting may help guide your decision. The meeting begins at 6:30 pm and is located at Dr. Losier. In case of a storm the meeting will be rescheduled for Thursday, February 26th at 6:30 at Dr. Losier.

Because of the number of school days lost due to storm cancellations, the Professional Learning Day scheduled for May 8th will now be a regular instructional day.

The Saint Andrews School Staff would like to thank our Home and School for the wonderful treats that were provided during Teacher/Staff Appreciation. It was greatly appreciated and everything was delicious!
Within the ASD-N school district all schools will be equipped with a security system. This system includes a camera, intercom and a video screen in the office. For the system to work properly, all doors of the school will be locked (this includes the front doors). When arriving at the school the following will occur:
1. You will need to go to the camera that is located on the brick wall beside the front door.
2. You will need to push the button and inform the office you are there. A video will be displayed on a screen located in the office.
