St. Andrews Elementary will be kicking off our fundraiser campaign tomorrow September 23, 2010 at 8:45 in the school gymnasium. This fall we will be selling magazine subscriptions. Money from the fundraiser will be used to support ongoing activities for our students. Cheques and money orders can be payable to St. Andrews Elementary and the orders and money must be in by Monday, October 4, 2010. There will be prizes given out to the top three sellers:1st prize- $50, 2nd prize- $25 and third prize will receive $10. We would like to thank you in advance for your continued support of St.
Friday, September 24, 2010 St. Andrews K-3 students will be celebrating Special Persons Day. The celebration will commence at 9am in the school gymnasium. All special persons are invited to come.
Friday, September 17, 2010 will be Jersey Day at St. Andrews Elementary. We are also having our Terry Fox Walk. Kindergarten to grade 3 will be going on their walk at 10:00 and the grades 4 and 5 will be going at 10:15. All students will be walking to Waterford Green. This walk will take place rain or shine unless there is an extreme weather event. Please make sure that your child is dressed for the weather.
The grades 4 and 5 students will be watching the Terry Fox movie on Thursday to help them appreciate the importance of this national event.
