Students have been bringing "Silly Bands" to school.  Although they look great on their wrists they have become a distraction during class time.  They have become the cause of some arguments as well.  For this reason "Silly Bands" are no longer allowed at St. Andrews Elementary.  If a student is seen with a "Silly Band" it will be taken away and not give back.

It is now mandatory that all people coming into the school to spend any amount of time (for volunteering, sitting with your child, etc.) must complete Policy 701 training. The link for the information is http://701.nbed.nb.ca/toc-e.asp. The validation questionnaire can be found at . Please print off the sheet showing you have completed this and bring it to the school with you. You only need to complete it once.

Our Cross Country and Soccer teams have begun the fall season here at Saint Andrews. The Cross Country team practices on Monday from 3 -4pm and have meets on Wednesday at 4pm. Our Soccer team plays games on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All players and runners have been given a schedule. Please refer to your child’s schedules so they are prepared before they arrive at school and a BYE on the soccer schedule means the team is not playing on that day.    ********* The Green Soccer team will be playing a home game on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 against Burnt Church.************
