Events for this Week

Pink Shirt Day  is on Wednesday, February 26th in support of Anti-Bullying.   Snowshoeing for our class will be at 8:30 am on Wednesday, Feb. 26th.  Please be dressed appropriately.   Olympic Sports Day will be held on Friday, February 28th!

Valentine's Day

We will be celebrating Valentine's Day in our class on Friday,February 14th in the afternoon.  A list of student names from our class is going home today in the homework folder.  Students  can begin bringing  in their valentine cards on Thursday.

2014 Winter Olympics

Today at Saint Andrews we are having our opening ceremonies/kick-off for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Each class is responsible for keeping a tally of a country's medal standings.  Our country is:  The Netherlands!  Each morning we will check to see if that country has won any medals and add it to our class chart and the school chart in the gym. We will also be keeping track of our own country's medal standings as well.  So if you get a chance to watch any of the Olympic coverage at home and know when either the Netherlands has a medal or Canada could you please let your child know on his/her way to school. Thanks so much!!  and Go CANADA!!!!

February Birthdays

A BIG  Happy Birthday goes out to two boys in our class this month:   Tristen celebrated his B-day yesterday on February 2nd.   Zachary celebrates his special day on February 17th.   Happy Birthday!!!

Skating

Reminder:  We are going skating this week on Wednesday, Feb. 5th!  Helmets and skates are required to be allowed on the ice.
