Oct. 17th Cross Country News

Our girl’s team has won the meets at the Hollow, Nelson and Croft and the boy’s team has won the meets at Nelson and Croft this year. The team results from the Blackville meet will be given at the NSEE meet next week. Please remember that the meet at NSEE on Wednesday October 24th starts at 4 PM.  Please ensure that vehicles park at the arena parking lot.  Runners and their coaches will meet at the front of the school (parking lot).  Parents will remain in the parking lot to watch. The access road will be the route that students will run and they will have a walkthrough for the runners first.  The starting line will be at the end of the access road and the finish line will be the school parking lot.  Thanks

Oct. 15 Cross Country News

To: Parents/Guardians Date:  Oct. 15th Re:  Cross Country Just a reminder that our Cross Country season is quickly coming to an end and we only have 2 races left, one of which is a rescheduled race at NSEE.  Today’s parent practice has been canceled due to the weather.  Sorry for any inconvenience. This week’s meet is on Oct. 17th at the Blackville school.  Runners should leave for this meet immediately after the 3pm bell, as the race begins at 4pm. On Oct. 19th   we will be having our School meet that begins at 12:40pm in the Hollow.   All Saint Andrew's students will walk to the Hollow to watch our runners race and cheer them on.  Parents are welcome to attend! The last race of the season is on Wed. Oct. 24th at NSEE school in Sunny Corner.  We have been asked to park at the arena behind the school.  Race begins at 4pm. Thank you, S. Potts/R. Williston/B. Croft Cross Country Meet

Saint Andrews had 31 runners at the Cross Country meet at Croft yesterday. We are very proud of all our runners and would like to note that our team had 15 runners place in the top 10 overall.  This was a difficult course and the weather made the run more challenging for all. We are looking forward to the next race that will take place on Wednesday, October 17th (4pm) at the Blackville School. We recommend that runners be picked no later than 3pm to get to the meet on time.   The following are the top three placements for our school. University Hoops Basketball Showcase

The University Hoops basketball showcase will be taking place from Oct. 12th to the 14th at the MVHS Gym. Each homeroom class has been given one complimentary pass to be used for a draw.

Cross Country Practice

There will be no Cross Country Practice on Tue. Oct. 9th but runners are strongly encouraged to be running on their own over the long weekend as we have a meet on Wed. Oct. 10th.

Nelson Meet

Saint Andrews had 40 runners at the Cross Country meet in Nelson yesterday. We are very proud of all our runners and would like to note that our team had 14 runners place in the top 10, and 5 more in the top 15 overall.  Many runners improved their performance from the first meet that took place in the Hollow last week. We are looking forward to the next race that will take place on Wednesday, October 10th (4pm) at Croft Elementary. The following are the top three placements for our school. Cross Country Note - Mon. Sept 24

Re- Cross Country Date: Sept. 24th. 2012   Our second cross country meet of the season will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 26th at the Hollow.  Students are permitted to remain after school with the cross country coaches until the meet begins at 4pm.  We ask that all runners bring a small snack to eat prior to the meet and a water bottle.  Parents can park at the school or at the Hollow.   The running order will begin with grade three, followed by grade five, and then grade four.  Runners are free to go once they complete their race, please be sure to notify one of the coaches before leaving.    See you at the race, B. Meet Cancelled

Hello Again Everyone,   After holding off for as long as possible it has been decided that the Cross Country Meet scheduled for today at NSEE is cancelled and will be rescheduled at the end of the season (Week of October 22nd) weather permitting! Thank you

Cross Country Meet Memo

September 18, 2012 TO: Parents/Guardians FR: B.Schofield, R.Williston, S.Potts, E.Case RE: Cross Country Meet           Our first Cross Country Meet of the season is scheduled tomorrow, Sept.19th in Sunny Corner at NSEE. We have been asked that all cars park at the Sunny Corner Arena located behind the school. The weather for tomorrow is forecasting heavy rain. Parents/Guardians are asked to check our school website for updates regarding the meet anytime after 12:30pm as the meet may be cancelled.

Fall Sports

Cross Country (grades 3 to 5) and Soccer (grades 4 & 5) will be starting soon at Saint Andrews. Once the District schedules have been sent to the schools, we will be informing the students of them. Students will be given the opportunity to join these teams next week.
