Our basketball season is beginning Monday, November 23rd. Practices will take place on Monday and Wednesday from 3-4pm. We will try to have most games on Wednesday but a more detailed schedule will be sent home once we receive more information about game dates. We ask that all students bring appropriate clothing (i.e. running shoes, track pants, shorts, water, snacks, etc.) Once games begin, all players are asked to show up for each game at least 15 minutes before hand. If a home game is being played, students are permitted to stay afterschool until the game begins. Parents/Guardians are responsible for transportation to and from each game/practice. Practices end at 4pm sharp. The games will take place at various schools in Miramichi. Practice dates for November Nov. 23rd 3-4pm Nov. 25th 3-4pm Nov. 30th 3-4pm Dec. 2nd 3-4pm This will be the last practice before the gym is set up for the Christmas Concert. A new schedule will be sent home in January. There will not be a practice the first Monday back in January. Thank you, Mr. Noel and Mrs. Potts

Our final district Cross Country meet of the season will take place this Wed. Oct. 14th at the Blackville School. The meet starts at 4pm, so runners should be picked up at the school at 3:05pm in ordered to get to the meet on time. Please send a note with your child if they are being picked up and indicate where you will meet them (office or Frost Street).   On Friday Oct. 16th we will be hosting our school Cross Country Meet here at Saint Andrews. The race will start at 12:40pm in the Hollow and is only for members of our school team. Parents and family members are welcome to come to the Hollow at this time.  The rain date for this meet will be Monday, October 19th at the same time. We are looking for some volunteers for this meet, so if you or a member of your family can lend a hand, please let us know at the Blackville meet.   If you have any questions please see one of the coaches. Remember, students should continue to run on their own outside of our regular practice times to develop their running endurance.  We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday.     Thank you for your help and cooperation.
