The Miramichi Cross Country Ski Club is keen to give students an opportunity to take advantage and enjoy the ski trails over March Break. As in past years students can ski all day on a $2.00 trail pass. If they need to rent equipment ( skis, boots and poles) will be available for use on site for $2.00. This offer extends from Saturday March 2 until Sunday March 10. Could you let students know. Snowshoe trails and snowshoes are available at a low rate as well. The MCCSC trails (25 km) are located in Nelson-Miramichi. The trails are there for them to use and they will be made welcome.

Boys’ Basketball The following games have been added to the white team schedule: Monday, January 28th   Napan @ St. Andrew’s  (3:40 pm start ) Thursday, January 31st  Harkins @ St. Andrew’s  (4:30 pm start )                                                 Important Thursday’s game against Harkins will be played at Dr. Losier Middle School, as part of the Elementary Jamboree.  Players are asked to meet at the Dr. Losier gym at 4:15 pm. To:       Parents/Guardians From:   Mr. Noel/Mrs. Potts Re:      Boys’ Basketbal   The Saint Andrews Boys’ Basketball team will begin practicing this month.  There will be no games played until January 2013.  Once we receive the district schedule, we will send it home.  In January, the days of practice may change depending on the league schedule.  See below for practice dates and times for the month of Nov./Dec.   Thursday, Nov. 29th           -           Practice from 3-4 pm Monday, Dec. 3rd               -           Practice from 3-4 pm Thursday, Dec. 20th           -           Practice from 3-4 pm No practice the week of Dec. 10th as the gym will be set up for the Christmas Concert.

The Green and White soccer teams enjoyed a very successful 2012 season. Both teams were undefeated in league play and performed very well in the district jamborees. Well done, boys and girls !   We would like to have all team jerseys washed and returned to Mr. Noel or Mrs. Stewart by Friday, November 2nd.

Mr. Peter Gadd will be coming to our school on Thur. Nov. 1 to take team photos for both the soccer and cross country teams. All players and runners must have their uniform back to school next week.

There is no cross country practice today, but our last meet of the season is on Wed. Oct. 24th at NSEE.
