Welcome Back

Just a quick little note to welcome back all the students to St. Andrews.  Hope everyone had a great day and I am super excited to have you all in my class this year.  A couple of reminders for those who may have forgotten: 1) Students need to have a pair of indoor shoes(preferably sneakers for Physical Education) and a pair of outdoor shoes. 2) Students in grade 4 are now changing clothes for Physical Education, so please make sure to bring Phys. Ed clothes on the days that we have Phys. Ed(We have ours on Monday, Thursday and Friday). 3) If you haven't already sent in the $2.00 for the student agendas, please send the money in with your child.   I am looking forward to a fantastic year with you all this year:)

Scholastic Order Extended Until November 3

The scholastic order that was sent home last week has been extended until November 3, 2011.  Some students said they had wanted to order books but didn't have a chance.  So, if you would like to place an order please have it in by November 3, 2011.

First Day of School

Today was a great first day back to school.  We got all of our supplies organized, took a tour of the school, had Phys Ed, ate in the cafeteria and many other things.  A lot of our time was spent talking and getting to know one another.  We found out that we all have a lot of things in common.  I even found out that I share some of the same favorite bands as some of the students in the class.  The student information sheets have been sent home today so please fill them out and send them back as soon as possible.  Don't forget to fill out the part in the middle of the sheet for permission to publish.  I have also sent home a cafeteria menu and a notice from Mr. Noel about Phys Ed.  Have a great evening and I will see you all tomorrow.    Madame Prince

1.  Reading 15 mins 2.  Math F.R.  7. 18  lecon 3 3.  The hiking trip to French Fort Cove has been cancelled for tomorrow due to weather. 4.  The students that aren't finished their persuasive writing in English are to work on it each evening this week and have their good copy handed in by Friday.  These students have brought their writing scribbler home with them. 5.  Students are running low on pencils, so if you could please send in some pencils with your child it would be greatly appreciated.  Also, we are fresh out of kleenex so if you could try and send in a box of kleenex as well.
