Reminder: Families can come to our Book Fair, held in the library tonight from 6-8pm. Our class will be visiting the book fair tomorrow before lunch. They will be allowed to purchase books at that time. Please send money with your child if you're interested in purchasing books.

Our class will be visiting the Book Fair this Tuesday, October 19th. Students will be allowed to puchased books and other products during this time. There will be a variety of books on display. Thank you!

Dear parents/guardians,Your child will have a book to read each night. Most of the vocabulary in these books has been covered in class. Your child may not be able to read every word. That's O-K! Just listen to your child read the words that he/she recognizes. Don't forget to encourage and praise your child while he/she is reading. Together we can help your child develop an enjoyment of reading. *Please note that the book level is not relevant at this point as your child is still building vocabulary and comprehension of the language.

NB Wellness Week will be celebrated from October 1st to the 7th. That is also International Walk to School Week with Walk to School Day being held on Wednesday, October 6th. Please encourage your child to take part!
