Dear parents/guardians,Your child will have a book to read each night.  Most of the vocabulary in these books has been covered in class.  Your child may not be able to read every word.  That's O-K! Just listen to your child read the words that he/she recognizes.  Don't forget to encourage and praise your child while he/she is reading.  Together we can help your child develop an enjoyment of reading. *Please note that the book level is not relevant at this point as your child is still building vocabulary and comprehension of the language.
