Just a reminder to all parents and guardians that our Home and School's second FundScript fundraiser will be starting today. Forms will be sent home today (Monday, November 16th) with all students and they are due back on Friday, November 27th.
This will be the only FundScript fundraiser done before Christmas.

Some friendly reminders for Halloween here at Saint Andrews:
· Our school is ‘nut/peanut aware’, so please be extra careful when sending treats to school and check on what your child brings to school.
· Saint Andrews is ‘POP Free’, and students are not allowed to bring pop to school at any time.
· All visitors must use our intercom and report to the office when visiting the school.
· Makeup must be applied at home, students will not be given time during the day to put this on.
Parents
and guardians are invited to complete an online survey on child care in
New Brunswick as part of the public consultation being conducted by the
Child Care Sector Task Force. The survey is available at : www.gnb.ca/engageNB The
survey will remain online until Nov. 2. It represents a chance for New
Brunswickers to tell the taskforce what kind of child care they are
looking for, what options they have found, what works and what does not
work in the current system. The
mandate of the task force is to provide a path for creating the right
The FundScrip orders have arrived
at school and will be sent home with students on Wednesday Oct. 28th.
If you would like to pick up your order at school, please send a note to your
child’s homeroom teacher.

The November Calendar and school skating
schedule have been posted under the School Documents tab. Both documents will
be sent home with the youngest member of each family on Wednesday October 28th.

The Home & School would like to send a huge “Thank
You” to those who participated in our Fundscrip fundraiser. We were able
to sell over $16,000.00 in gift cards! This resulted in a $576.00 profit back
to the school.
Stay tuned for news on the arrival of the cards so you
know to look for them in your child’s bag. You are also welcome to pick your orders
up at the school if you prefer they not be sent home with your child.
We will be running another Fundscrip sale at the end
of November, just in time to get your Christmas shopping done!

Due
to the weather forecast our school Cross Country meet scheduled for Friday,
Oct. 16th has been postponed until Monday, Oct. 19th. The
meet will take place at 12:30pm in the Hollow.
