With school being cancelled Friday and Monday here a few reminders:
-our spelling test that was supposed to be Friday will now take place tomorrow, Tues. Feb 14th.
-book orders that were due on Friday, will now be due WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 15th.
-don't forget tomorrow is Valentine's Day. Be sure to bring your Valentine's and to wear Red and Pink!

Reminder that we are going skating this Wednesday, February 1. We will leave for the rink around 8:35 and return to the school for 10. Students are reminded to bring their skates, helmets and snow pants. Students who need to borrow helmets will get them from the office.

Tonight students will be bringing home a log-in card for Reflex Math. This is an online website where students can practice their addition and subtraction facts in an attempt to build fluency. If possible I would like students to use this website at least 2 times a week at home. If they do not have access to a computer that is fine as we will also be doing the program during our Computer Time. Please keep their log-in card in a safe place ie: on the fridge, in their agenda or homework bag.

Welcome back!! I trust everyone had a fun filled, restful break. In an attempt to help students return to their school schedules, there will be no nightly homework assigned this week. Homework will resume Monday, January 16th.

Reminder that all science projects are due this Friday, December 16th! Remember to bring in your poster board and be ready to present on your experiment!

Today students are taking home information on their Science projects. They are to complete a project using the Scientific Method. Projects are due to Mrs. Devereau by Friday, December 16th. There will be no regular homework next week so students have lots of time to work on their projects.

Today students took home a STEM homework challenge. I am asking all students to design and make a mini marshmallow launcher. This can be in the form of a catapult, slingshot, blowgun, etc. All launchers are due this Friday, December 2nd when we will compete against each other to see whose marshmallow will go the furthest distance. Be Creative and Have Fun!
