Now that we have a substantial amount of snow, students will be snowshoeing as part of their Physical Education classes. Students are required to wear winter boots, winter coat, ski pants, a hat and mittens when snowshoeing and classes are about 1 hour in length. Students that come to school unprepared will not be allowed to snowshoe with their class. If your child has their own snowshoes they may bring them to school, but we do not allow poles.

Tips for Keeping Snacks SafeAlways
wash hands before preparing or eating a snack. This is the one of best
ways to prevent food spoilage and contamination. Wash all fruits and
veggies under cold running water.
Clean
all lunch boxes, thermal bags, plastic utensils and containers in hot
soapy water. DO NOT re-use plastic wrapping and bags.
Keep foods cold
-Yogurt, deli meats and cheese should be kept cold.
-Be
sure to keep lunches in the fridge until the morning and include an ice
pack or frozen juice pack when sending lunches to school.
