There is no school for students on Thursday, October 10th and
Friday, October 11th, because of teacher meetings. There is also no school on Monday, October 14th because of the Thanksgiving Day Holiday.
As of
October 1st, 2013Due to the
vast increase in the number of visitors to the school, all visitors may only

We had our Terry Fox walk on Friday, Sept 20th, 2013 and raised $405.94 for the Terry Fox Foundation!!
We would like to thank everyone for their donations towards this great cause. Well Done!
Come out and enjoy some Fall Fun at Saint Andrew’s first annual Fun Fall Fair. Some of the things you can enjoy will be:
· Balloon Animals
· Face Painting
· Games
· Boys & Girls Fun Zone
· Dress up Photo Booth ($1/picture)
· BBQ with hot dogs, chips, pop, and water ($1/item)
· Bake Sale ($1/item)
· Popcorn ($2/bag)
· 50/50
We are looking for volunteers to help set up and take down the Boys & Girls Fun Zone. If you are able to help do either, please contact the school and let us know what you can do.
Due to the weather forecast for the remainder of the day, our
Cross Country practice has been cancelled. We will try to make up practice at
lunch time later in the week.
Just a reminder that our next meet is at Croft Elementary on
Wednesday Sept 25th (4pm start time).

Kindergarten registration will take place at St. Andrews Elementary from October 15th to 18th for children who will turn 5 by December 31, 2014 and who start school in September 2014. Register your child for Kindergarten this October and receive information and invitations to be part of activities to support your child’s learning.
Attention parents/guardians
The Saint Andrew’s Fall Fair committee is in need
of 2 or 3 volunteers to aid in setting up and dismantling of the inflatable
playground that we have on loan from Big Brothers and Big Sisters on Friday
September 27th. Setup up will commence after school at 3:30pm and
dismantling will occur at 6:30pm when the fair is over. Please e-mail Mr. Glazier

House and Terry Fox Walk Just
a reminder that our school’s Open House
is tonight at 6pm. Following the Open House there is a meeting for the parents
of students in the Grade 3 French Immersion program.
The
school will hold our Terry Fox Walk on Friday
September 20th .Students will be leaving the school
at 10:15am and will walk to the Waterford Green and back. We ask that each student make a small donation
to this worthy cause.
