Helpers will be having their group photo taken on Friday, Oct. 25th
at lunch time. The Soccer team is asked to bring your uniform to school for the
photo and Cross Country runners will be given theirs back for the picture.

Our school
held a fire and lockdown drill today in the cafeteria (Wednesday October 9,
2013). The students did extremely well during these drills and our staff is
very proud of how they handled the situation.

The school will now be using "SCHOOL CONNECT" This is a voice messaging system that we will be
using to send any messages that pertain to the school and your child's attendance.
(This is something new to the school this year)
Just a reminder to students and parents that there will be no school on October 10th and 11th due to professional development days for teachers and support staff. Monday, October 14th will also be a holiday for students in recognition of the Thanksgiving Holiday. Enjoy the extended weekend boys and girls! Happy Thanksgiving and see you on Tuesday.
We had a practice lock down and Fire drill on the Saint Andrew’s Elementary playground today. Everything went really well. Please follow the following guidelines at all times when dropping off a student.
When dropping off a student in case of a lock down:
During a lock down, all lights are off in offices and classrooms.
All classroom and office doors will be locked.
All students, teachers and office staff will not be visible as they are away from windows and doors.
Photo retakes will be taken on Thursday, October 24, 2013. Please have students return the original envelope with the word "RETAKE" written on the envelope.
