Welcome back!! I trust everyone had a fun filled, restful break. In an attempt to help students return to their school schedules, there will be no nightly homework assigned this week. Homework will resume Monday, January 16th.

Tuesday - Festive Headgear Day (Santa hat, antlers, elf hat, top hat, etc)
Wednesday - Red & Green Day
Thursday - Dress as your Favorite Holiday Character (Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, Elf, Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch, etc)
Friday - Festive/Ugly Christmas Sweater Day

Today students are taking home information on their Science projects. They are to complete a project using the Scientific Method. Projects are due to Mrs. Devereau by Friday, December 16th. There will be no regular homework next week so students have lots of time to work on their projects.

Today students took home a STEM homework challenge. I am asking all students to design and make a mini marshmallow launcher. This can be in the form of a catapult, slingshot, blowgun, etc. All launchers are due this Friday, December 2nd when we will compete against each other to see whose marshmallow will go the furthest distance. Be Creative and Have Fun!
