Hello Everyone,
Here are a few things to remember for the upcoming week of October 25-29.
* Picture re-takes are on Monday, October 25th.
* The letter of the week is /t/.
* There is no school for students on Wednesday, October 27th, as teachers have Curriculum Implementation Day at JMH.
* On Thursday, October 28th, we will be carving some pumpkins at 12:40. If any parent(s) would like to come and help, you are more than welcome.
* On Friday, October 29th, we are having our Halloween Jamboree. Students can bring their costumes to school and get dressed up in the afternoon, just before we go to the jamboree. We ask that students do not come to school dressed in their costumes. We will also be having a Halloween Party on Friday. Students are allowed to bring in treats if they want, but they are not expected to.
* We also have Show and Tell on Friday so we ask students to bring in something that starts with the /t/ sound.

Our classes got to visit the book fair today. Most students made a "wish list" and put it in their bookbags. The book fair runs tonight, Oct. 18th from 6-8 and again tomorrow and Wednesday from 10-3.

Reminder: Homework is given out each Monday and collected on Friday. Please have your child return their Book Buddy bag, with their homework in it, each Friday.
Remember that when you or your child reads, you must log it. Those already ready a level A book should be reading that book, as well as the sight word book(s), each night.
On Friday of each week, students are asked to bring in something that begins with the letter of the week. This week, we are learning the letter /a/, so students can bring in something that starts with the letter /a/. Have fun.
