Welcome to another new week. Here are a few things to remember this week:
* We will be working with the letter Oo this week. O is a very hard working vowel because, like all other vowels, it has two sounds. The short Oo sound is our Zoo Phonics sounds and can be found in words like Ollie, octapus, otter, and other. The long Oo sound says its own name and can be found in words like open, ocean, oval, opal, over, and old. Have lots of fun searching for something that has the short or long /o/ sound. We will have Show and Tell on Friday.
* This week in Math we will be making some 3D shapes. It's going to be fun!
* Our class is going snowshoeing Monday morning from 8:30-9:30 for Phys. Ed., so I ask that each child have his/her snowpants, boots, a hat, and mitts.
