December Book Orders

If you would like to order books and have them here in time for Christmas, please order by December 7th. Don't forget that you can pay online now if you find that more convenient!! We can keep it hush hush too and order the books without your child (children) knowing. All you need to do is call or email me and we can arrange a time to meet for the order.

Pumpkin Carving

We will be carving pumpkins on Friday morning starting at 10:00. We ask that volunteers sign in at the office and meet us in the cafeteria. Students must bring their own pumpkins and carving tools in. See you then!

Scholastic Book Orders

The November book order is due on November 23rd. You are now able to pay for your order online at www.scholastic.ca. Christmas is not so far away now and I know some people like to order books as Christmas gifts. If you would like to do this, but you do not want your child to know, you can either email me your book order at natalie.richardson@nbed.nb.ca, seal it in an envelope and send it in with your child or you could also leave it in the office with my name on it. I will be sending out another order for December as well.

Halloween Celebration

We will be having a Halloween celebration in our class on Friday, October 30th. Please feel free to send treats in with your child, but please remember that we are a nut free school as we have several students with severe allergies. There are 19 students in our class. Students may also dress up!

Up and Running

Hello everyone and welcome to another school year! I will be updating my page regularly with important information and dates pertinent to your child and the school in general. I will be posting homework (weekly), notices that go home as well as important dates to remember. Welcome Back

I would like to welcome everyone back from the Christmas break! I hope everyone had a very restful break! Here are some reminders to get us through our return after a glorious 2 weeks off. The grade 5 students go skating on Wednesday, January 7th, 2015. Please remember to bring your skates and your helmet. Some students need to replenish their pencil supply. Bring in Gym clothes for Phys. Ed. (It is on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). Dress appropriately for outdoor recess (hats, mitts, snowpants, boots, etc.).   Let's make the next few months as awesome as the first few!!

Halloween Day

We have all sorts of fun activities planned for our students on Friday to celebrate Halloween. We have our Halloween dinner in the cafeteria, which will be the only meal served that day, our Sock Hop from 11:30 to 12:00 and then the teachers have planned a costume parade followed by some fun activities. We are asking that all students please bring their costumes in, rather than wearing them. They will be given an opportunity to put them on. Also, please remember that we have nut allergies in our school so please send in nut free treats. Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation!

USB Flash Drive

USBCould you please send in a USB flash drive with your child, if you haven't already. We need them to save their work that they complete in the computer lab.
