Skating on Wednesday

     REMINDER: Grade 5 students will be going skating on Wednesday, November 7th @ 8:45-10:00.       Please remember to bring your skates and a helmet.       Any parents/guardians are more than welcome to meet us at the rink.

    Math: Page 8 # 1-5 and Extra practice sheet- Lesson 1    Read 20 minutes and log in Reading log- Remember to get your parents to sign the reading log.   Bring in your costume for the Halloween Jambouree! I can't wait to see all your wonderful costumes!

Oct 29-Nov. 2- Important Information

    Homework:  Math: We are working on our new unit -Patterns and Equations. Make 5 pattern rules with the pattern example.   Read 20 minutes and log in Reading log   Bring a Pumpkin in on Tuesday to decorate. We will begin carving at 12:45. Any parent volunteers are welcome to join us!   Read your French book to someone at home and return to school.

Halloween Jambouree Info!

      Hallowe’en – Oct. 31, 2012 Jamboree – K-3 -- 12:30                       4-5 --   1:45 K-2 students may wear their costumes to school at the parent’s discretion.  Please remember, the students will be outside, weather permitting, and masks may only be worn when the students go to the jamboree. 3-5 students may bring a costume and will be given an opportunity to change for the jamboree. Students are not to wear face makeup to school, or bring it to put on for this event.

  REMINDER: Tomorrow St. Andrews will be having a fundraiser to help out a sick friend at the school. We will be having a "wear your PJ's to School" day. We as that each student bring in 50 cents for this fundraiser.

Classroom Reminders!

 Library will be on Thursdays for our class. Please bring your library book back each week so that you can take out a new one.         Gym: Our class has gym class with Mr. Noel on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday's. Please bring gym clothes on those days.         Music: Our class has music class with Mrs. Comeau on Wednesdays & Fridays. Please remember to bring your recorders on those days.         Bus Evacuation Practice:  On Tues., Sept. 18th, we will have a Bus Evacuation practice and learn about Bus Safety.
