Picnic at Waterford Green

Dear Parents/Guardians,                                                                         May 28, 2014 On Friday, May 30, 2014, our class will be going to Waterford Green for a picnic lunch.  We will be leaving the school at 12:00 and walking to Waterford Green.  After we are done eating lunch we will have an hour of free time at the playground.  Please make sure that your child has a lunch with plenty to drink packed for that day.  You may also want to make sure that they have sunscreen.  We will be returning to the school at approximately 1:30.  We are taking this time as a reward for the class for having raised the most amount of money per class for the Spell-A-Thon Fundraiser.  Please make sure that your child dresses appropriately for the weather.   Thank you, Madame Prince

Upcoming Assessment

Just a reminder to parents and students that Grade 4 French Immersion students will be doing the ProvincialAssessements the week of May 22 to May 29th. All students will be writing, unless exempted.  Please make sure your child is well rested and has a good breakfast before coming to school :)

Christmas Concert Photos   Just a friendly reminder that parents and guardians are only permitted to take photos of their own child/children during school events and photos that might include other students cannot be posted online.  Photos that are used on the school website or in the local media have been approved by the administration.

Visit to the Hollow

January 15, 2013 Just a note to let you know that on Wednesday, January 16, 2013, the class will be walking to England’s Hollow to see the duck pond and beaver dam for our science unit on Habitats.  Please make sure that your child comes to school dressed appropriately wearing boots, hat, ski pants, mitts or glove and a winter jacket.  Thank you, Madame Prince

Skating January 9, 2012

Just a reminder that Mrs. Stewart, Ms. Hart and Madame Prince's classes are going skating tomorrow.  Please remember to send your child's skates and helmet.  We will be leaving the school between 8:30 and 8:45am.

Week of Sept 17, 2012

Today we had reading buddies for the first time with Mrs. Allison's class.  We will continue to do this on Monday afternoons.  The grade 4 students read a book in French to the Kindergarten class and then explained to them in English what the book was about.  After that, they read them an English book.    I sent home a note with students regarding classroom procedures, homework, Scholastic orders, etc...
