I would like to welcome my new grade one students to a new and fun year of Math and You and Your World.  Every week I will post our math homework on this page.  I will also post a summary of what we will be working on in Math as well as You and Your World.   Math - we are reviewing numbers from 0 to 10.  Looking at recognizing the number, sets and the number word.  We will soon be moving onto numbers to 20.  It is important for your child to be able to count to 20, beginning with 0, and to be able to create sets of these numbers. You and Your World - we began the year looking at Health.  What keeps us healthy, such as food and excercise.  We will also be looking at safety as part of this unit.
