Basketball Fun League

Grade 4, 5 boys and girls, Anyone wishing to stay after school on Monday (beginning March 17th) of each week, can do so to play basketball and get some exercise in our fun league. The gym will be supervised and parents are welcome to join us. Students are not permitted to make phone calls during the day to ensure drives and these arrangements must be made prior to each Monday. Pick up times will be at 4pm. Please remember to bring proper gym gear....it gets hot! Mrs. Potts

National Jersey Day

Show Your Support for Sport on National Jersey Day Friday, November 29th is a national day to show support for Sport by wearing a jersey, team or club uniform to school. So come on St. Andrew’s, dig out your favorite team jersey and proudly wear it to school! Sports Day in Canada The annual Sports Day in Canada will be held on November 30th, 2013 in communities from coast to coast. This national celebration of Sport is an opportunity for all Canadians to celebrate the power of Sport and build community. To celebrate National Sports Day at Saint Andrew’s the teachers will be playing a friendly floor hockey game against grade 5 students on Friday, November 29th afternoon in the gym.

Cross Country - October 10th

Congratulation’s go out to all the runners who participated in the Blackville Meet yesterday, October 9, 2013. It was a very changeling course and all our runners did very well. A reminder that our next Cross Country practice is on Wednesday October 16th and this is our bring a family member/friend to run with event. Hope to see you on Wednesday

Soccer - Oct. 7th

Our game tomorrow in Burnt Church has been rescheduled. It will be played on Tuesday, October 15th at 4 pm. We will be leaving the school at 3:15 pm. ( see below) Directions: turn right off of Highway 11onto Micmac Rd. (just after 4D’S grocery) Once you get across the bridge you turn left at the Y. School will be on your right about a kilometer.
