The journalism club will be meeting every Friday at 11:30-12:00 in the Green Screen room. Please wait outside the door until a teacher arrives. There is a great interest this year, and I am very excited to work with all the students and The Dewey Daily!

On Monday, June 17th, several members of the Dewey Daily Journalism Club
had an opportunity to visit The Vogue Theatre. New owner, Victor
Somers, spent some time with the students talking out the future of the
historic building. Students also had a chance to tour the old theatre.

The journalism club was very fortunate to be invited on a tour of the new radio station, 95.9 sun FM last Tuesday! They learned a lot of interesting facts and were shown all the various equipment needed to run the radio station! 95.9 employees were very accomodating! The students had a great time!! Stay tuned for pictures of their tour!
