The Grade 2 class field trip is coming up next week!
We are going to: Kouchibouquac National Park
Friday, June 17th
leaving approx. 8:45am and returning by 2:00 pm dismissal
Please sign the permission slip and send in the $3.00 by Wednesday of next week.
Don't forget that we will be outdoors for the entire day so dress appropriately for the weqther.
Students will need a bag lunch as there is no where to purchase food or snacks. Extra water is a good idea especially if it is a hot day!

March 4th: Winter Sports Day--Don't forget to dress for being outdoors all morning. Also a helmet is needed for sliding.
March 16th: Grade 2 and 3 classes are going skating.
March 15th: Great Big Crunch! Students are asked to bring an apple to school for this event.
March 7th-11th: March Break! I hope everyone has a fun and safe week off school and return refreshed and ready to learn more exciting things!

Christmas Concert is tomorrow December 16th at 9:00am! Come see how we help Santa get in shape for the holiday season.
School Breakfast of pancakes and sausage will be next Tuesday (Dec. 21st).
Skating on Wednesday, Dec. 22nd. Skates and helmets are needed.

We have penpals! Our class just received our first letters from our penpals. They are grade 2 students from Rexton Elementary School. We were really excited to receive our mail today and are eager to write back to them. We plan to write back and forth all year, both on paper and then possibly by email. We also hope to meet them some time near the end of the school year,either by visiting them at their school or them coming to our school!
This is an exciting chance for students to meet students from another community and learn all about each other through writing!

The Grade 2 classes will be going skating on Wednesday, November 24th in the morning. Please remember to bring your skates and helmet. Those who do not bring skates will be remaining at the school to do classwork. Feel free to join us at the rink if you are available.
