 Here are a few Math Word problems of the week from the fabulous grade 5 students! Estimating Sums: 1) There were 14 560 people at the Friday basketball game. There were 19 640 people at the Sunday basketball game. About how many people came to the games that weekend? Created by Logan   2) There were two ships ready to sail. There were 15 605 people on one ship and 20 263 people on the other ship. Both ships together had a passenger limit of 40 000. Did they pass their limit of passengers on both ships?
