Hello
everyone!
We
had a great day today! We started off our day with a story by…you guessed it,
Roberto Munsch! Do you remember the name of the book boys and girls? It sure
was hilarious! Later, we had our first writer’s workshop. We discussed the
importance of having a good topic to write about before we write and
brainstormed many different topics that we were interested in. Then, the
children went back to their desks and put their pencils to work! I was really
impressed with many of the stories when we had a chance to share at the end of
our class! After recess we had Math. It was a surprise to find out that we were
playing Math Bingo! Mrs. Robinson called out the numbers in a different way to
challenge us! Instead of just saying the number what did she do? When our lunch
hour was over we had an assembly in the gym and the teachers put on a crazy
play by the same book that we read in class this morning! Girls and boys, do
you think Ms. Gallant was just studying her lines for the play? There was not
much time left for Art class today so instead of painting we doodled a clown
step by step! The children did an excellent job! Be sure to check their book
bags to see your artist’s amazing work! Have a great week end boys and girls. I
will see you on Monday!
