Saint Andrews Class Relocations

Posted: November 22, 2010

Due to the closure of the Kindergarten Wing and in consultation with our teaching staff and District Office personnel, the following class relocations will be taking place here at Saint Andrews. Both Kindergarten classes will be moving into the Library, where Mrs. Schofield and Mrs. Allison will be team teaching. These classes will continue to have separate Music, Physical Education and writing classes as per their regular school schedule. This new classroom will have all the same equipment that their old classroom had including a Smartboard, student tables, class library and listening centers.  The library is one of the largest rooms in our school with lots of windows for natural light and we feel that our students will love their new class as much as their old one.      Mrs. Comeau’s Music classes have moved to the primary computer lab, but due to preparations for the upcoming Christmas concert some classes are held in the cafeteria and the gym. Mrs. Ross’s Methods and Resources small group classes will be held in the literacy room where she will be sharing it with Ms Weeks. Ms. Weeks will be setting up a temporary library so that our students can continue to enjoy signing out books. We understand that these changes will come with some growing pains, but know that our staff will be able to continue to deliver the curriculum that at the highest possible level. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school at 778 – 6081.   Thank you for your support and understanding.
