September 3, 2013 Dear Parents/Guardians; The staff of Saint Andrew’s Elementary would like to welcome all of you to a new school year and we are looking forward to having many wonderful learning experiences together.  Last year we focused heavily on our school web page to communicate with our parents and guardians which we will be doing again this year. All school documents, memos, newsletters and calendars will be posted on our home page.  Sporting schedules will also be posted although cancellations often occur with very little notice.  We ask that you please check our site regularly for changes and if you require hard copies of any of the above documents please notify your child’s homeroom teacher.  Consistent with our District Policy, all visitors must report to the office, sign in and obtain a visitors pass.  Teachers are unavailable to meet with parents/guardians unless it is an emergency as our focus is on student instruction between 8:30am and 3pm.  The school day begins at 8:00 am and students are not to arrive at school prior to this time.  As well, our school does not have an Admin. Assistant on Wednesdays, so please understand when calling on that day.  If there are any questions or concerns, please contact the school at 778 – 6081.   We look forward to seeing you throughout the year.
