Fair
Anglophone School District North has renamed the Annual
Elementary Science Fair to the STEM Fair. STEM stands for Science Technology
Engineering and Mathematics. This Fair is designed to offer students the chance
to present their STEM related project to STEM experts, their peers, and to the
public. The STEM Fair targets elementary aged students to think critically
about bigger issues in society related to the STEM areas. The STEM Fair will take place on Tuesday, March 26th at
Gretna Green Elementary School. Participants will have the chance to present
their projects in a stress-free environment. As well, each students at the Fair
will have the opportunity to participate in STEM related activities. The public
is invited to attend the event that runs from 9am-12pm. Here are the categories for the Science Fair:Physics (light,
sound)chemistry (changes in materialsbiology (plants and
soils)environment science (habitats)engineering (materials and
structures)
