It's the last week of March already!...and it is still snowing! Summer break is fast approaching but the snow won't let the summer season come. The class did awesome today at the music festival! Congrats on a job well done! This week in French class we will be having our spelling quiz with the words from last week as we had a super short week last week (again) and the activities this week (music festical, skating, etc) mean we will have limited time to work with new words. Instead we are reviewing some key sounds that students tend to struggle with a bit, while still reviewing our words from last week and continuing with daily conversations, reading & writing. In social studies classes we are finishing up some activities we began last week on New Brunswick's location, shape, waterways, etc. & beginning to look at the people & jobs of New Brunswick that go along with New Brunswick's features.Math is moving right along! Everyone is doing great with multiplication and we will start division on Wednesday. In health class we will start writing about healthy eating habits and students will have to pay attention to how many hours of sleep they are getting each night for class activities.Homework & reminders- Math sheets Monday, Wednesday(short one) and Thursday this week.- Reading every night (record title on log sheet)- Pay attention to how many hours of sleep (Tuesday night in agenda)* Skating Wednesday* Music festival for choir Wednesday (no skating for choir members)* Parent teacher interviews rescheduled for Thursday March 27, 2014 (Same appointment time)
