I hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed the super long weekend! This week in 3C:French - We are continuing to review vowel sounds and reading strategies daily. Some students are finishing up the editing process on their procedural writing pieces, while others are still working on their drafts. Our spelling quiz will be Friday morning (the list was given last week but the students only had a day or two with it so they were told the test would be this week.) chercher, puis, matin, joyeuse, heure, violet, jaune, trouver, moins, rien.Math - Today we looked at a quick introduction to Fractions, to prepare for an upcoming District quiz. Everyone picked it up rather quickly! The rest of the week we will continue with our next unit: Measurement. Math tests should be signed and returned by Friday.Social Studies - We are reviewing a few things in our textbooks this week about New Brunswick (Where it is, how to describe it to visitors, etc.) and finishing up the brochures to attract visitors to our province!Health - This week we will finish up our dental hygiene unit, as well as our positive self-talk stuff. The classroom is getting much more positive and students are recognizing negative talk/thoughts immediately. Positivity is so much brighter!Homework: Read each night (log) & math sheets Wed. & Thurs.Have a great week! (Another short one ,for students, next week!)
