Our school celebrated PINK SHIRT day with an anti bullying assembly that promoted bucket filling, being yourself and accepting and learning from the differences of others. Music teacher Emily Comeau incorporated these themes in music and movement with songs like, “Everyone Needs a Friend”, “I’m Special” and “The Bucket Song. Miss Hitchman’s break dance cluster group gave a black light performance showcasing their special talent. It was fantastic to see the whole school enjoying such a positive message.
