We recently began a new science unit on Structures.  We kicked off the unit by making our own catapults out of popsicle sticks, rubber bands and a spoon.  We then took turns launching a gumball eye to see who's catapult would shoot the farthest distance.  It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to do more activities like this in the coming weeks.
