Posted: November 17, 2013

Here are a few important things happening this week: *In Literacy, we will be working on the letter C c.  Can you think of anything that begins with the letter C c?  Well, I can help you…can, cup, cupid, Chloe, Colby, computer, card, and carrot.  Show and Tell will be on Thursday this week so have fun searching for something with the /c/ sound.   *In Math, we are still working on numbers 1-5 and making different combinations of each.   *The Scholastic Book Fair begins this week.  On Tuesday, November 19th, classes will be able to view and purchase books from the fair.  The Book Fair will also be open on Wednesday, November 20th and Thursday, November 21st, in the evening from 6-8 pm.  Each child can fill out the ballot that was sent home on the Book Fair flyer.   *On Wednesday, November 20th, we are celebrating Anti-Bullying Week.  We are asking everyone to wear blue on Wednesday.   *Report cards go home on Thursday, November 21st.  Parent/teacher interviews will be held Thursday evening and Friday morning.  Your appointment time will be sent home with your child’s report card.   *There is NO SHCHOOL on Friday, November 22nd due to Parent/Teacher interviews and Professional Development for teachers.   *We are still accepting donations for the Food Bank.  There was a list sent home of items the Food Bank was in need of.  You can send items in at any time.  Anything you can send it would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.
